Out 28 April 2023, “Present Dreams” is the third release in a series of EDM / dream-pop singles co-created between independent electronic singer-songwriter Genevieve Sovereign and composer-producer Ben Tenison – now excitingly adding a new team member also, seasoned multi-genre mix engineer and artist Dee Cowan (AKA "Deece"). “Present Dreams” follows tight on the heels of Sovereign and Tenison’s first two collaborative singles “Vibration Angle” (released 11/11/2022) and “Life Soaked Reveal” (released 25/12/2022), with both previous tracks having enjoyed generous coverage levels across the blogosphere and social media.

Plunging listeners into a soundscape of amorphous synths, complex beats and ephemeral vocals “Present Dreams” delves into the subconscious straight from its outset. Anchored by Tenison’s intricate rhythms and instrumental flourishes, with arrangement elements and textures brought to full potential through Deece’s mixing expertise, Sovereign’s hallmark poetry glides free into another of this team’s metaphysical journeys – seeking for truth and expansion into the unknown.

It’s been a productive year for Sovereign, who launched her debut EP “It’s yours.” only last March 2022. Since then, she has continued exploring creative avenues and collaboration opportunities – with further singles and other projects slated for fruition across 2023 and beyond. Tenison has likewise kept busy as a music producer and artist – further developing material from his 2022 visit to Nashville, TN (USA) for an upcoming EP release of his own.

Deece continues work on a number of exciting projects as well, including Sovereign’s next solo release “Midday Blue” – an electronic-acoustic hybrid track coming later in 2023, and featuring guest performances from some of Sovereign's closest Melbourne-based collaborators and friends.
